Coal Coast Classic

Boats will sail/race down from Port Hacking with berthing available for visiting yachts in Wollongong harbour on  Saturday night and then would join in a race from Wollongong to Sydney on the Sunday.
Race details will be shown shortly.

Coal Coast Beach Party

A feeder cruise/race will leave Port hacking around 1100 on Saturday morning bound for Wollongong.

A party is organised at the Wollongong Yacht Club by the beach at Belmore Basin with paella, seafood and cocktails under the marquee in conjunction with the Coal Coast Classic on  Saturday 5th October from 4pm until 11pm.
Cost for the evening meal will be around $35 but we still need to confirm some expenses. Regular drinks at our usual price of $5 and live entertainment.
Payment on the night via cash or credit card.

RSVP not necessary but will help with catering.

The inaugural Coal Coast Classic taking yachts from Wollongong Harbour past the many historic coal mining villages to Pt Hacking and finishing at the Royal Motor Yacht Club Pt Hacking.
Race Briefing is at: 09:00hrs at Wollongong Yacht Club. Race fee is $5 per crew member.
This is either payable at the briefing in cash or alternatively with EFT or credit card if you request an invoice. Race category 4.
Placing will be awarded and trophy presentation at RMYC Port Hacking on Sunday evening.
Our boats would then stay overnight and sail back the next day, Monday.

The end of one of the marina has been reserved for overnight boats on Sunday night. Boats may have to raft to accommodate all yachts.

The restaurant area of the club has been reserved for the presentation and dinner.
